Ingerid is told she has been asking questions since she learned how to speak. She has spent her adult life making an inquiring mind and sense of adventure her work as a journalist and researcher.
Currently, she is combining her journalistic practice with a PhD at Oslo Metropolitan University, specialising in climate journalism, a research interest that previously earned her a fellowship at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford.
As a journalist, she has worked for Norway’s largest newsrooms and on her own independent projects. She likes to explore new ways of journalistic storytelling, whether that is starting one of Norway’s first podcasts on Foreign Policy, or creating a live show where journalism is performed on stage in collaboration with musicians, actors and a dramaturg. A self-described "time optimist" with relentless curiosity, she often juggles multiple assignments at once.
While she enjoys exploring new technology for work, she is ironically lazy about her own hardware, often seen with a semi-functional mobile phone.
